First Air, Electrical Odor/Smoke, Loss of Instruments

A First Air/Bradley Air Avions de Transport Regional ATR-42-500, registration C-FTIZ performing flight 7F-852 from Kugaaruk,NU to Yellowknife,NT (Canada) with 26 people on board, was enroute about 150nm northeast of Yellowknife when the crew noticed smell of an electrical smoke, which was followed by the loss of the first officer's instruments as well as a flag on the captain's RMI. The first officer pulled the circuit breaker for the #2 inverter and the odour rapidly dissipated. The crew worked the related checklists and continued the flight to Yellowknife for a safe landing without further incident.
