An Eurowings Airbus A320-200, registration OE-IEU performing flight EW-5805 from Hanover (Germany) to Vienna (Austria), was enroute at FL370 about 40nm north of Prague (Czech Republic) when the crew received a cargo smoke indication and diverted the aircraft to Prague for a safe landing on runway 06 about 15 minutes later. Emergency services found no trace of fire, heat or smoke. The aircraft was still on the ground in Prague about 3:45 hours after landing. On Jul 20th 2017 Czechia's UZPLN reported the indication was false, a fault was discovered in the cargo smoke detection system.
